Meet Our Founder

The day contracts exchanged unconditionally for the purchase of a run down eighty acre farm, blissfully tucked away in a back valley of the Adelaide Hills, South Australia, was the day I allowed myself to google ‘adopt a Brumby’. I’d been waiting for this moment my whole life. I was forty years old.

Three months later a horse truck picked up a tiny two year old Australian Brumby in northern NSW. En route to SA via southern NSW, a two year old rescued Andalusian cross was loaded into the neighbouring bay. This is how Koszi and Saxon came into each other’s lives first, then together off that truck into my life.

I hadn’t the faintest idea of where we were headed.

Via a journey of personal resilience; from business analyst, project management and sales roles in the incongruous and often brutal corporate world; through immeasurable personal loss and taking on the responsibilities of running my farm solo, came Walking with Horses in Nature™.

Guided by the same sense of connection I found in the practices of Regenerative Agriculture to responsibly manage my land – and through my natural bond with horses – I’m able to offer what has been a transformative experience for me, to others:

As you walk alongside my gentle horses, dearly loved individuals with their own stories of renewal, each step echoes our shared tale of courage, healing and self discovery. “A walksublime” is not just a walk with horses – it’s a wellbeing journey inspired by my very real life experience and the lives of six thriving horses.
